Lalor Park Public School is a community based school which focuses on meeting the particular needs of our students.
There is a strong emphasis on literacy development particularly in the early years. The integration of students with special needs is a feature of the educational program. A strong emphasis on the welfare of students exists with a combined caring approach from all staff, parents and the wider community.

We are comprehensive school having a preschool and support unit on site. We nurture a community of visible learners and empower them to strive for continuous growth.
Our students are confident, enthusiastic and happy individuals. They thrive on learning in a safe and nurturing environment with outstanding professional and dedicated staff who deliver quality teaching and learning programs.
We have a strong student wellbeing focus with a wide range of programs in place to enhance the cognitive, social, emotional, physical, spiritual needs of students. We are proud of our school values programs that develop students' truth, courtesy and understanding and our prime focus is kindness.
We articulate our school values through positive behaviour for learning under our umbrella expectations of safe, respectful, responsible learners.
Strong partnerships with the community inclusive of our parent/carer members work closely with staff to foster our strategic direction of partnering in community.
